About Mzubanzi Balintulo

Mzubanzi Balintulo is a skilled sound engineer with over 20 years of office administration experience and a decade in events management and entertainment. His technical expertise, combined with a strong background in mechanics, ensures professionalism and reliability in every project.

With proven skills in administration, business, and networking, Mzubanzi has developed effective financial systems and cash flow management strategies. Shodz Entertainment & Promotions thrives with support from Seda, the City of Cape Town, the EPWP Entrepreneurship Programme, and the Silulo Foundation, which provide mentorship and business coaching to drive success.

Motivation of Name

The name Shodz derived from my nickname “Shorty”. This is the nickname I grew up with given to me by friends in my community. Because I like entertainment and support other people, I then combined the two and came up with Shodz Entertainment and Promotions and registered an Events Management Company because of the creativity and a skill in developing of a small and large scale personal, family and corporate events such as ceremonies, parties, weddings, team buildings and festivals. The colours of my company logo describe my personality which are: purple, blue and black. These colours describe my personal values which are creativity, dignity, trustworthy, wisdom, strength and authority which are also my company values.
